[ Cloud services - The future of computing ??? ]

You might hear of cloud services, cloud computing somewhere,
What is "cloud services", basically they're services that using the server to help compute, store your data.

I live with my PC for quite a long time, when the cloud services are introduced I feel a bit strange, but when using it, I feel they're kinda nice. So I want to introduce some of them:

1. Windows Live
   
   
Microsoft windows live contains some cloud services like: Photo, office, Mesh,
You can edit Office files online, can synchronize data between multiple PC by Mesh
I didn't use it since it only supports Windows 7
But later maybe I will since I plan to buy a WP7 phone and upgrade my PC to Windows7 I used hotmail to store my contacts and working calendar
Dropbox


This is the files services, very easy to use, support multiple platforms (u can access by ur mobile)
It only gives 2GB of data storage, if you want more, u will have to pay
I use it mainly to store my source code and report.


Mendeley


This is a great software to store your documents, it gives you 500MB
Extremely useful, cause it can synchronize all your bookmarks and notes as well.


Evernote


Great note program, I still prefer OneNote, but I don't have Windows7 so I stick with this
It's kinda easy to use, free.

There's plenty more cloud programs out there. Some of them are free.
If you start using it, you will find out it's interesting.
And it makes your life easier, u don't have to carry your thumb drive,
But if you loose your internet connection, it would be a nightmare
