Today I need to go to NTU to join a workshop "SinBerBEST" and my boss send me to have a student project poster there. So I try to come there early. The workshop was held in Nangyang Executive Centre (NEC). I really don't know how to get there. But luckily, I contact Prof.Ling's student, Xiao Zhekai, the one last time I met in VN. So he wait for me in Pioneer MRT then we take NTU Shuttle Bus to NTU.
Really a lot of NTU students take shuttle bus at around 8.00am, we even need to queue for a while and 3consecutive buses come to us 0.0
It's really fun to see Zhekai again, he even brings me some gifts from his province, a cup to make tea and some tea. It's really kind of him.
When I arrived to NEC, I met my boss, he came earlier than me, then we listen to some presentations. The truth is that the presentations were very sleepy, I yawned too many times. However, the project they're working on is very ambitious, it's a very large scale project which involves many professors from Berkeley University, NTU and NUS. I feel ashamed cause I am too too small in there.
I try to sneak out but my boss said that it might be good for me. So I try to suffer until noon then I go to S2.2 building, from there I met Zhekai again, he took me to a canteen near Hall 2, the canteen is quite nice and similar to the PGP Canteen.
It's lucky for me that I went to Process Instrumentation Lab several times before, so the lab officers recognize me and they let me in, so I have a place to rest. After that we go back to NEC to prepare for the student project poster section. To be honest, my poster is very simple and very few people come to see my poster. I don't know if it's good or not cause on one side I no need to say anything (what a relief). On the other side, it means that my project isn't worth looking. Lucky for me, Zhekai was there so we had a lot of chat chit, and he help me to take picture of me and my poster so that I can show to my father :P
After that we came to Jurong Point to have dinner in Crystal Jade, it's again, I have it in Changi Airport, in Clementi, now in Jurong Point and it's wonderful as ever.
It's kind of tired wearing formal clothes and walking around the whole day. But on the bright side, I met my friend and help a wonderful time discovering NTU.
Don't know if I have to go there with her again ... If I do have, I surely will take her to the Canteen or Crystal Jade in JP :D
Anyway, thank to Zhekai a lot for spending too much of his time helping me in NTU ...
Hopefully, we might see each other in near future ...
